The Lesson of True Success
I am a better person today because of what I have gone through. I am better emotionally, relationship wise and spiritually and I have learned what true success is in life.
So Very, Very Thankful
This Thanksgiving, I felt so very, very thankful. On October 30, 2005, I received the Gift of Life when I received a left lung was transplant and it has made all the difference!
Returning to the Game I Love
A rare twist of fate has given me the comfort and knowledge of knowing first-hand that my donor was a true hero. I know that because my donor was my best friend’s father, Mike Craig.
My Two Transplants
My name is Mary and for 2 very separate reasons, I have been blessed to receive 2 different kinds of transplants.
My Second Chance – Ruth Vollrath
As I recovered from my heart transplant in May, 2005, my first thoughts were with a family who was very loving and kind. In the grief of losing their precious son Michael, they supported his decision to be an organ donor, which saved 8 lives.
My Second Chance – Sonia J.
My story begins like most transplant patients that I know. I consider myself an average housewife and mother, living on a farm in southeast Ohio with my husband, Calvin.
