John B. Mullins IV
Heroes
In November 1998, I turned 50. Without my kidney/pancreas transplant, there is no doubt in my mind that I would have NOT reached that milestone. Now I am able to walk with my family in events like the Dash for Donation.
Character is what you are in the dark
I was diagnosed with a kidney disease known as heredity nephritis at the age of 18 years. Heredity nephritis is a disease passed from parent to child causing inflammation of the kidney resulting in renal failure.
Not Even A Decision
My youngest son, David was only one-year-old when it was discovered that he had kidney disease.
Giving the Gift Back
I have been given the opportunity to give the gift of life to someone very special to me, my dad.
A Gift to my Brother
My name is Karen and I am a 44 year old mother of four. On June 29, 2006 I became a living kidney donor.
My Son’s Legacy
My message is one of hope and love. My heart aches with the memories of my son, Dustin, but swells with pride and love that his spirit, through the gift he gave to others, lives on.
