Heroes In November 1998, I turned 50. Without my kidney/pancreas transplant, there is no doubt in my mind that I would have NOT reached that milestone. Now I am able to walk with my family in events like the Dash for Donation.

Character is what you are in the dark I was diagnosed with a kidney disease known as heredity nephritis at the age of 18 years. Heredity nephritis is a disease passed from parent to child causing inflammation of the kidney resulting in renal failure.

Not Even A Decision My youngest son, David was only one-year-old when it was discovered that he had kidney disease.
