We all can make a difference
Lifeline of Ohio offers a wide array of ways to become involved and spread awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation. Whether it be by becoming one of our Donate Life Ambassadors, having one of our educators speak to your classroom (virtually or in-person), hosting a donor drive at your workplace or faith organization, we have something for everyone.
The solution to the critical need for more registered donors is one in which everyone can play a role—together we become a powerful force to save and heal lives through donation.
Participate in the Shawls of Support Program
Gifted to families of organ, eye and tissue donors to offer comfort in their time of loss, these handmade shawls are made by Lifeline of Ohio Donate Life Ambassadors including transplant recipients, donor family members and people in the community.
Currently, the Shawls of Support Program is seeking rectangle or triangle-shaped shawls which can be given to our donor families.
Hear their stories
In facilitating the donation process, Lifeline of Ohio is privileged to touch the lives of so many caring and compassionate families whose loved ones have shared the gifts of life through organ, eye and tissue donation. Likewise, we are inspired by the energy and gratitude of those individuals who have received a second chance at life because of a stranger’s generosity. Their stories reveal the power of donation—of families intertwined in a legacy of life.
