Lifeline of Ohio volunteers play a tremendous role as Donate Life Ambassadors in our efforts to save the lives of the thousands currently waiting for a second chance through donation.
There are a wide variety of projects for volunteers, so no matter what your interest, we are sure you’ll find an experience that will be both personally and professionally rewarding.
Fill out an application through the green button below. Once your application has been submitted and accepted, you will receive more information from our Volunteer Coordinator, Molly Craig.
Additionally, to ensure that we are doing our very best to serve and protect our volunteers, our community and our partners, you will receive a request from Lifeline of Ohio to complete a background check.
Who are Donate Life Ambassadors?
Donate Life Ambassadors have personal experiences with organ, eye and tissue donation or truly believe in our mission—we invite you to read their stories.
Volunteers will be expected to:
- Perform in cooperation with Lifeline of Ohio’s staff and comply with the organization’s guidelines.
- Act as representatives of the organization and serve as a positive ambassador for organ, eye and tissue donation.
- Attend a Donation 101 education session and Ambassador Training for in-depth learning at the earliest opportunity.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of whom they come in contact.

Volunteer workshops
Donation 101
Each month, one of our community outreach coordinators will host an hour-long education session on Zoom where they will cover topics such as what can be donated, the donation process and how you can register to be a donor. They will also share impactful stories from transplant recipients and donor families.
If you are interested in attending an Ambassador Training you must attend Donation 101 first. You must register to attend. RSVP here!
Ambassador Training
Interested in learning about how you can get involved with Lifeline of Ohio? Ambassador Training is an engaging and informative presentation that will give you the tools you need to volunteer. Learn about volunteer opportunities, ask questions about the donation process and share your story with other Ambassadors!
To sign up for Ambassador Training you must have attended Donation 101. To register email Molly at mcraig@lifelineofohio.org.
