Michaela was in eighth grade when she tore her meniscus during a dance routine. Dancing was her life and the thought of never dancing again was unfathomable. Thanks to a heroic donor, Michaela received a tissue transplant on January 10, 2006 and went on to win a national dancing title just a year later!
