Jerry Hunt

Westerville, OH. Died June 18, 2023. Jerry saved five lives through organ donation, gave sight to two through cornea donation and enhanced countless other lives through tissue donation.

“Jerry excelled at and perfected anything he did, which included drawing, blacksmithing, creating custom jewelry, remodeling his home and repairing everything from a car to a faucet to a fence post.

Jerry’s heart was so big for those in his circle, most notably intensely loving his wife of 14 years, Elisabeth, and his stepsons, Wesley and Spencer. He also adored and spoiled his dogs, Chief Brody and Loki, who happily kept him company while he cheered on his favorite football team – The Ohio State Buckeyes.

While Jerry had a huge appreciation for cars, he especially loved BMWs and Porsches. He could often be seen drinking a Mountain Dew with a pack of cinnamon Icebreakers in his pocket or center car console, which he always offered to share.

His family and friends miss and love him so much, and are so proud of his selfless gifts through organ and tissue donation.”
