Teaming Up for Donation – Team Bill In 1994, Bill Laing started having trouble breathing.  He chalked it up to strained cartilage in his chest but an e-ray revealed that there was a bigger problem.  Bill had sarcoidosis, a disease in which the immune system causes the lungs to fail.

‘Shine On’ Quilt Honors Heroes of Donation Lifeline of Ohio’s 11th Donor Memorial Quilt panel, “Shine On,” was unveiled this week in celebration of Donate Life Month. It features squares from Ohioans who gave the “Gift of Life” through organ or tissue donation. Each square was handmade by the donor’s family.
