Our historic memorial – always a cherished place of remembrance
In 2017, Lifeline of Ohio staff partnered with a committee of donor families and recipients to design the Donor Memorial in Columbus, Ohio. This memorial is a place that honors our organ, eye and tissue donors and our heroes in spirit.
The committee crafted an immersive experience for visitors around the concept of the “ripple effect” of donation—how the gift of one selfless donor touches countless lives in future generations.
Our Donor Memorial Wall reached its capacity in June 2026 with a total of 2,408 names engraved. Although we are unable to engrave additional names on the wall, it will always be a cherished place of reflection that we hope you’ll visit often. You are welcome to sit by our fountain to pause and reflect, pick up a rock to take home and paint or come inside our office for a tour.
