Cheryl’s Donate Life Cookie Card Makes Donation That Much Sweeter
Cheryl’s famous cookies have a new blue and green twist in an effort to support organ, eye and tissue donation.
The Ohio-based company partnered with Donate Life America to create the Donate Life Cookie Card as a way to give back to the community and support the lives saved and healed through heroic organ donors. For five dollars, including shipping, customers can send a buttercream frosted cookie to any recipient that’s tucked inside a customizable card. The gift is then packaged inside of a Donate Life box, perfect for inspiring community members to say yes to organ donation.
“Cheryl’s has always given back to the community, and we wanted to specifically partner with organizations that really make an impact in people’s lives,” said Cheryl’s Public Relations and Partnership Director Mary Eckenrode. “If you’re two or 102 years old, you can eat our cookies. Similarly, Donate Life touches people of all ages – if you’re two or 102, you could need an organ transplant, or you could be the donor who saves someone’s life. Cheryl’s line of Cookie Cards, only sold online, now includes the Donate Life Cookie Card and allows anyone to mail an affordable note that’s memorable for the recipient. In addition, the Cookie Cards include a five dollar gift card for a future purchase that the company hopes inspires recipients to pay it forward and send a Cookie Card to their loved one.
