Donor Family Ceremony
This event honors our donor heroes who gave selfless gifts of life and healing, and our heroes in spirit who generously said “yes” to organ, eye and tissue donation.

- Each donor family may have up to 6 attendees in total.
- NOTE: In addition to the person filling out the RSVP form, there are spaces for 5 additional guest names.

Keynote Speaker
We are pleased to welcome our Keynote Speaker, Jason Schechterle.
In 2001, Jason experienced a horrible car accident while in the line of duty as a police officer, resulting in burns over 40% of his body. Jason knows firsthand how important the gift of tissue donation is – he was saved by the generous and selfless donors who gave him the ultimate gift.
Jason’s journey chronicles his fight for life, his triumph over tragedy and the inspiration that enables him to continue to overcome unimaginable adversity. His story is one of life, rebirth and transformation. Jason represents the human experience at its very best – an ascent from despair to describing himself as the luckiest person alive!

Visiting Lifeline of Ohio
Once the event has concluded, families may opt to visit Lifeline of Ohio’s office at 770 Kinnear Road Columbus, OH. Staff members will be present from 3:30-5:30 p.m. to greet you and share opportunities to honor your loved one.
