Have you said yes? A whiteboard asks the question
A dry erase marker and a whiteboard helped us celebrate our volunteers who said “yes” to donation at our Level I Workshop on Wednesday, May 8.

Donate Life Ambassadors said living donors, donor family members, and recipients were their inspirations for registering as organ, eye and tissue donors when they arrived at the volunteer workshop.One family member said “yes” to donation because her brother received two liver transplants; another shared how she, a donor mom, celebrates her son’s legacy as an organ donor.
The whiteboard campaign was inspired by the launch of our new website that visually honors live-saving individuals who made the decision to donate. Buttons spread through website ask, “Have You Said Yes?” and invite registered donors to answer “yes” and share why on a virtual wall at www.haveyousaidyes.org. The campaign reaches the public at community events, Bureau of Motor Vehicle locations, health fairs, and on social media to honor all who make the gift of life possible.

“Our “Have You Said Yes?” campaign aims to publicly celebrate the silent heroes who make the decision to donate,” said Marilyn Pongonis, director of communications.
“We love reading the website and whiteboard photos to learn what inspires people to say yes to donation!”
