Lifeline of Ohio Partners with COSI to Share Donation Information

Lifeline of Ohio is excited to announce two partnerships with COSI. This new relationship provides us the opportunity to reach schools, teachers and students of all ages across the state of Ohio and around the nation. Our goal is to provide engaging activities and programs for students while bringing awareness of the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation.

COSI Connects

COSI Connects launches audiences of all ages into a universe of science through online videos, activities and a free mobile app which enables science exploration even when offline. This stimulating program is helping to close the digital divide, promote digital literacy and address critical science education needs simultaneously. Along with COSI, Lifeline of Ohio introduces audiences to the functions of the heart and lungs, recipient stories and fun, hands-on activities that can be done at home. Check out our Beat the Clock and Paper Bag Lungs activities.

COSI In-Depth: Kidney Transplant Virtual Program

Get an inside look at organ donation! High school classes from all around the nation can view the surgeon’s perspective in both the donor and recipient surgeries. These videos will feature pre-recorded narration from a doctor from The Ohio State University Comprehensive Transplant Center. Students can also speak live with a member of the Lifeline of Ohio clinical team to ask questions and learn more about careers in the organ transplant field. Learn more about this program!
