In Memoriam
We remember Donate Life Ambassador and Medical Advisory Board Member, Anthony (Tony) Siciliano.
Tony joined our Board in 2004, four years after receiving a life-saving double-lung transplant. His Gift of Life gave him the opportunity to graduate from law school, become an attorney, get married and start a family.
He always graciously shared his story and helped to spread the importance of being a registered organ, eye and tissue donor.
Unfortunately, Tony’s cystic fibrosis returned and he was re-listed for another transplant. He received his second Gift of Life in January 2016, but never fully recovered. Sadly, Tony passed away February 16, 2016. He was 43.
Our staff and board extend condolences to his family. We will miss Tony and his dedication to helping others.
