Start a #DonationSaves Conversation Today!

Faith congregations across the nation recently celebrated National Donor Sabbath, which was held November 11-13, 2016. This annual campaign gives religious communities the opportunity to show their support for organ, eye and tissue donation, to dispel common myths and to encourage family discussions about the topic. Surveys have shown that individuals look to their religious leader to help them make a decision concerning organ, eye and tissue donation.
Although the official weekend set aside to discuss donation has passed, Lifeline of Ohio still encourages your faith organization to make time for this important topic. Free educational materials such as bulletin inserts, posters, brochures, lapel pins, hand fans and bookmarks are available year round, while supplies last.
Faith leaders and congregation members can also download materials from Lifeline of Ohio’s website at any time. Materials available include sample newsletter articles, e-mails, PowerPoint slides and a Clergy Manual. All of these items, as well as a request form for speakers, materials and display boards can be found on our webpage: www.lifelineofohio.org/donationsaves.
