BMVs Embrace “Season of Giving” Challenge

Last fall, Donate Life Ohio implemented the “Season of Giving” Challenge to help increase the percentage of new Ohioans registering as organ, eye and tissue donors, resulting in more lives saved.   Agencies from across the state were able to participate in the contest from October through December 2010.

Five agencies in Lifeline of Ohio’s service area were honored for their outstanding work!

These awards are as much a commendation of the generosity and compassion of the local citizens as they are to the outstanding commitment of the BMV agency that serves them. The awards were presented by Lifeline of Ohio staff and local individuals whose lives have been impacted by donation and transplantation.  BMV workers have the responsibility to ensure every Ohioan is asked: “Would you like to make an anatomical gift at the time of your death?”

Lifeline of Ohio congratulates its partners in the donation process.   Thank you for making the  last few months of 2010 a “Season of Giving” at your agency!
