Live On. Ride On.™ Receives Silver Anvil
Our Live On. Ride On.™ campaign is in its second year and not only is it creating an increase in registered organ donors, but it’s also receiving praise from the communications industry! The campaign received national recognition with a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The awards , considered the “Oscars of the PR Industry,” recognize outstanding achievement in public relations and the Live On. Ride On.™ was among an elite few honored at the event in New York City Thursday, June 3.
“This has been such an exciting project,” said Julie Russo vice president of Fahlgren Mortine Public Relations, the firm that worked with Lifeline of Ohio to develop the campaign. “We knew the motorcycling community was generous, but we were blown away by the response we received.”
The campaign registered five times as many organ and tissue donors in its first year than typical outreach events and spread beyond Lifeline of Ohio’s service area to touch bikers across the state and the country.
Boeing, Frito-Lay and the American Cancer Society were among the honorees. Top honors went to the U.S. Air Force, the winner of the “Best in Show” award. You can learn more about the Silver Anvils here.
