To say the Dash for Donation Saturday was amazing would be an understatement! It was my 9th event as a Lifeline of Ohio employee, and I was speechless as I scanned the crowd and Sea of Green before the 5K from atop the grassy knoll in downtown Columbus this past weekend.
I could not believe all of the people that surrounded me were gathered for one reason – in support of organ and tissue donation. I saw familiar faces, and meet many new ones too. Everyone was celebrating the precious “Gift of Life” — it was awe-inspiring! (more…)
