Lifeline of Ohio is excited to announce the renovation of our Donor Memorial located on-site! We will be honoring your hero of donation in a visibly different way in our new memorial design and will be transferring all donor names from the old memorial into the new memorial.
Since 2000, Lifeline of Ohio has maintained a permanent and public Donor Memorial honoring those heroes who shared the Gift of Life through organ, eye and tissue donation. As time and weather took its toll on the existing Donor Memorial, the physical components had weathered and aged in a manner not befitting the dignity of its purpose. Thankfully, Lifeline of Ohio had the opportunity to reconstruct it in a more meaningful and usable way as part of the 2016 building renovation project.
On Monday, April 4, 2016, we broke ground on the new Donor Memorial, which will be completed in 2016. The new space will be prominently featured near the building’s front door, and will recognize the ripple effect of donation, as one selfless donor can impact many lives with gifts of life and healing. Stay tuned to Lifeline of Ohio’s social media channels for progress on the Memorial’s construction.
