Donor Family Reception

Every day at Lifeline of Ohio, we honor those who have given the gifts of life, sight and healing through organ, eye and tissue donation. The Donor Family Reception is an opportunity for us to show our gratitude for the unselfish decisions made by these heroes and their families.

At the reception, we honor each hero of donation with a photo tribute, sand activity and donor families have the option to talk about their loved one and to connect with other families. We also have the opportunity for donor families to present a quilt square in honor of their hero of donation.

During the reception, each hero of donation’s name is read aloud and their picture is shown. Also, a transplant recipient and donor family member will address the audience with their story of how they are connected to organ, eye and tissue donation.

This is a special time each year to thank you and our heroes of donation. These selfless acts have healed countless individuals. We invite you and your family to join us in honoring your loved one at this reception.
