Noah Calhoon, Worthington, OH. Died January 11, 2018. Noah donated his liver, kidneys, lungs, thymus, pancreas, trachea and intestine to foster research involving cancer, diabetes, AIDS, kidney-disease risk, tuberculosis, asthma, lung transplants and a malabsorption disorder called short gut syndrome.

Noah’s parents said this of their son, “The day Noah was born was the best day of our lives. He allowed us to experience the purest form of unconditional love and demonstrated that giving is one of the most powerful acts, whether it be time, energy, love, or life itself. He showed us, by example, how to be brave. We are so proud of everything he has been able to accomplish despite his short time with us, and we are hopeful for the positive and long lasting impact that he will have on the world.”
