Lifeline of Ohio is pleased to report nearly $200,000 was contributed in 2016 to support the Donor Memorial project! We appreciate all of our contributors who have helped to make the project come to fruition – watch our highlight video!
Philanthropic efforts for 2017 will be centralized, with general contributions, or those made in memoriam, being used to enhance bereavement services to:
- Ensure that all opportunities for donor families and organ and tissue recipients to connect are not missed because individuals cannot afford the travel expenses.
- Provide more support and counseling resources (including workshops and books) to families and children coping with a loss.
- Expand online resources – including a virtual tour of the new donor memorial – for hundreds of donor families living outside the central Ohio area.
- Provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a donor family to honor their loved one while advancing the mission of Lifeline of Ohio on a national stage.
Partners are still invited to contribute to Lifeline of Ohio’s special events. Please contact Heather Blausey at firstname.lastname@example.org to customize your contribution, or with your philanthropy-related questions.
