A very happy story. I’m a double lung recipient and know how important it is to be a organ donor. It is nice to hear you are making the most of every day. My wish for you is to continue to live your life to the fullest and may you have many wonderful years ahead.

Bobbi – You and your beautiful family have touched MY heart in so many ways and I am forever grateful that I got to meet you and talk to you at the Dash this year. You have completely changed the way I view organ donation, and I now know that there is hope for people who may be sick or hurting or dying. I also know that I want to help someone like you someday, if I can. Thank you and your family from the bottom of my heart. I hope to see you all again someday – maybe at the next starting line! From now on, when I run, I will think of you and what you have done to make the most of the life you have been given with your new heart. My best to you and thank you!

I thank God everyday that my daughter Bobbi is here with us! I can’t imagine not having her in our lives. There are no words to express how grateful I am that someone donated this heart to her & the grief to the family that saved my daughters LIFE !!
