Lifeline of Ohio celebrated its 25th anniversary April 19, 2010 at the Hilton Easton by remembering the past and looking forward to the future, while thanking the staff and board members who facilitate the organization’s life-saving mission every day.
Board chairman Marilyn Tomasi and past board chair, Gene Warman, welcomed everyone to dinner by talking about what the community might be like without the tireless efforts of all Lifeline of Ohio employees. Warman, whose son is a liver recipient, acknowledged the more than 5,800 lives that have been saved in the last 25 years, thanks to Lifeline of Ohio and the generosity of donors. CEO Kent Holloway shared the organization’s many accomplishments, before unveiling the new corporate logo, which will carry Lifeline of Ohio far into the future. Twenty-five staff and board members described Lifeline of Ohio in 25 words while lighting a candle during a ceremony celebrating the 25th anniversary theme: “Shine On.” Several of the original staff and board members were also in attendance for the occasion.
Happy Silver Anniversary Lifeline of Ohio!
